A judo therapist is the only medical profession with a national qualification that can treat injuries other than doctors.
In this department, in addition to traditional Japanese medicine techniques, knowledge of Western medicine will be studied in a well-balanced manner.
You will also acquire communication skills in order to be close to the patient's mind and body.
The student's goal is to be a Judo therapist who can play an active role in orthopedics, nursing homes, and sports sites, including osteopathic clinics.
You can also aim for an athletic trainer (AT) qualification if you wish.

A fulfilling internship where students can experience professional sports on-site
At the Tokyo West Campus blessed with nature, it is possible to conduct research that concerns environmental problems such as "the contamination of air, water, and soil of Mt. Fuji and Lake Sagami" by taking advantage of the proximity to these places.
The campus is fully equipped with facilities and equipment for conducting chemical experiments and analysis.
Students will acquire the ability to accurately analyze and measure the components of air, water, and soil using advanced technology, as well as to analyze the obtained data.
