Only 30 minutes from Hachioji City in Tokyo on the JR Chuo Line. The Tokyo West Campus is where students from 3 faculties and 7 departments study, surrounded by clean air and abundant nature.

It is a natural campus where students "learn the value of life" through practice while coexisting with animals and nature.We carry out education and research rooted in the community through collaboration with animal breeding environments, the latest experimental and practical training environments, as well as surrounding educational institutions, medical institutions, and local governments.
Classes start at 9:40, considering students commuting from Tokyo or Kanagawa prefecture.

There are classrooms and lecture theaters where normal classes as well as language classes are held. There is also an information processing practice room with 150 PCs, and multimedia rooms as well as experiment / practice rooms for the department of Animal Science / Natural Environment.

There are 150 personal computers and one document display monitor for two people.
You can also distribute and submit questions from all computers via the network.
It is also open to students when there are no classes being held.

First Basic Science Laboratory

A training room where students of the Faculty of Life Sciences conduct chemical experiments that will be the basis for specialized learning of science. From the first year, there are classes where basic experiments are conducted.
There are also laboratories where students conduct physics experiments.

A large classroom with two projectors and two LCD displays. Students can watch various audio devices and computer screens on the projector screen.
Terminals for connecting to the Internet are installed for each of the 150 desks.

In the Experimental Research Building, there are faculty laboratories and student laboratories of the department of Life Sciences, where cutting-edge research is being carried out.
On the 1st floor, the symbolic space "Bricola" of OPEN AIR LAB, which opened in 2019, is also located.

This is where students of the department of medical science practice.
The building has excellent facilities such as exercise therapy training rooms, ADL training rooms, and water treatment rooms for practical learning of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and judo rehabilitation.

This facility was set up with the theme of coexistence between companion animals and humans.
There are breeding rooms for animals raised in the Department of Animal Science, where dogs, cats, rabbits and birds live.
There are also facilities such as an animal salon and grooming room where students can observe the behavior of animals.

Dog Run

A dog run is a dedicated space where dogs can play with peace of mind. It is not only a place to play, but also a place to learn the manners of the owner and the dog, such as discipline, and a place for socialization. It is also used for animal-assisted educational activities.

In the graduate school building, in addition to the faculty's room of each department, there are childcare training rooms and drawing rooms where students of the department of child education can experience various things.
There are also activity training rooms where students of the department of occupational therapy can learn while practicing ceramics and knitting.

With a panoramic view of the city center of Uenohara and the Tsurukawa Bridge on the Chuo Expressway, this plaza is used for on-campus events such as the Kadai Festival and horseback riding events for people with disabilities.

This facility is called "Uma Center" among students in collaboration with Uenohara City.
Four horses and goats live in the area, and regular interactive activities are held.

The Library houses an impressive collection of 120,000 books and 300 reading seats.
The library, which has 12 daily newspapers, is indispensable for report writing and graduation research. There is also a seminar room where small classes are held.

From the terrace on the east side, you can overlook the city center of Uenohara and enjoy meals with dogs that are permitted to enter.
There is also a convenience store (Yamazaki Y shop) in the cafeteria.
