主な研究と活動

動物の健康を保ち、その生命を衛るために、動物の感染症にかかわる病原微生物とワクチンについて研究しています。ワンヘルス(One Health)の考え方をもとに、動物そのものだけではなく、動物と人、動物と環境の関係にも着目し、研究を進めていきます。動物保健衛生学研究室では、論文講読と卒業研究を通じて、病原微生物についての専門的な知識と取り扱いを身につけ、動物病院や検査・研究機関などのさまざまな動物関係職域において活躍できる人材の育成を目指しています。
