主な研究と活動

　現代社会では、多種多様な動物と人が、複雑な関係性を保ちながら共に生活をしています。特に、犬や猫に代表される愛玩動物は、多くの家庭の中で飼育され、人と近しい距離感で共生しています。飼い主と愛玩動物が、互いの健康状態に良い影響を与え合うような関係性を築くためには、まだ多くの解明すべき課題があり、それらの特定および解決策の立案を目指して研究を行っています。
　また、飼い主と愛玩動物の暮らしにおいては、獣医療に携わる方々との関係性も非常に重要です。飼い主、愛玩動物、獣医師および愛玩動物看護師、この三者関係をより良いカタチにすることも目標に掲げ、活動しています。
