主な研究と活動

 人が動物たちと共存して暮らすって、どういうことなのでしょうか。
この研究室では、人と動物が幸せに共生できる社会づくりのために、社会環境と動物愛護・福祉の向上を目指しています。家族の一員として愛情いっぱいに育てられている仔がいる一方、天災や様々な事情で、行き場を失ってしまう動物たちも多くいます。その仔たちを一時的に収容し、健康状態と心の状態をケアし、次の幸せな環境へと橋渡ししていくアニマルシェルター(動物保護施設)を研究、サポートしていきます。社会の歪みの中にあっても、与えられたひとつひとつの命を大切にし、人も動物も幸せに暮らせるようにしていくことが私たちの使命です。環境、健康、教育、社会的システム等をより良くし、「人と動物を共に笑顔にする」そんな研究が私たちの目標です。
